About Whitstable Wine Club
Not a wine school, and definitely not serious — the Whitstable Wine Club is a friendly, sociable way to explore your palate and try wines you might never have reached for. Held at The Horsebridge in association with local independent The Offy, each month takes a different theme. Coming up: a 'Grape Off' pitting Sauvignon Blanc against Merlot (Thursday 24 September), Winter Warmer Wines for the colder months (Thursday 29 October), and a deep dive into sherry (Thursday 26 November). Ask questions, compare notes, socialise — and buy any bottles you fall for on the night. The club meets on the last Thursday of the month, 7pm to 8.30pm, tickets £14, at The Horsebridge on Horsebridge Road — Whitstable's arts and community centre by the harbour. Over-18s only.
