About Clay Figure Making with Steve Postgate
Get your hands dirty and make something with real character. In these relaxed evening workshops at The Horsebridge, experienced sculptor Steve Postgate guides you through making a clay figure — or figures — of your own choosing, with gentle demonstration and plenty of one-to-one advice. Whether it's a beloved family dog, a dancing couple or something entirely your own, no experience is needed — just come ready to shape, mould and enjoy a couple of creative hours. Sessions run at The Horsebridge on Thursday 13 August and Thursday 10 September 2026, both starting at 6.30pm, with tickets £35. You'll find the venue on Horsebridge Road, Whitstable's arts and community centre by the harbour.
