About Harbour Day Family Workshops
The Horsebridge joins the fun of Whitstable Harbour Day with a day of free, drop-in family craft workshops — all with a seaside twist. There are three sessions to catch through the day. At 11am, Anchors Away! invites children to make and decorate their own ship's anchor. At 1pm, Coastal Treasure Frames uses beach finds and craft materials to build a nautical photo frame. And at 3pm, Light up Seabed Reefs turns recycled egg boxes into a glowing underwater scene, complete with a safe LED tealight. All three are free, and part of Whitstable Harbour Day. Children must be accompanied by an adult, but parents and carers don't need a ticket. You'll find The Horsebridge on Horsebridge Road, a few steps from the harbour and all the Harbour Day activity.
